Help me give my students the chance to use technology as a reward for hard work in a challenging class. My students would benefit from having access to computers and video games to promote motivation.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My class is a class full of unique, brilliant, yet delicate minds. The only problem is we lack certain items which would benefit and support my students' growth, both academically and emotionally. We were blessed with our Sensory and Creativity project that was just recently funded, and it has made a world of a difference. My students now have a wonderful "Calm Spot" with various stress relief and sensory play items they absolutely love, as well as a "create area" where they can do therapeutic art.
Our classroom is made up of first- third grade students with emotional and behavioral disabilities.
It is a self-contained class, so we do all our learning together every day. My class means the world to me, and I feel they deserve it all. I love to see their faces when we receive new things to put in our room. The students just get so very excited, and there is nothing better than that for me!
My Project
These items will make a huge difference in my class. My students suffer with many emotional disabilities as well as behavioral. They may not have the happiest life at home, so we do our best to make school like home for them.
I chose the Chromebooks to help students have access to online learning and research, as some do not have this at home.
The headphones will help with kids who need noise cancellation or just to us with the computer.
Finally, the video games will be a HUGE incentive to my students who happen to be all boys, who as expected, love the idea of gaming as a reward instead of taking from a treasure box.
