This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
“I am not a teacher, but an awakener.” ― Robert Frost.
Hopefully I have awakened the minds of my fifth graders by requesting our classroom printer which has allowed them to be able to print their words, ideas, and emotions. They are now hooked on displaying their hard work for all to see!
The class consists of 29 fifth grade students who constantly want to use the classroom printer to display their final pieces, print primary resources for projects, and show their peers their hard work.
Because of this we are constantly running out of ink to support the demand of my students.
My Project
The ink cartridges and paper will allow my students to continue to utilize the printer. It will keep them motivated to create writing pieces such as poetry and allow them to print useful information for their learning. It will allow those students who are working on their penmanship that they can still show their peers what they are made of.
These supplies will continue to allow to keep it going.
That people still care about them and that it is not a waste of time. That what they have to say is important and should be displayed accordingly.
