My Project

Students come to school each day in a wide arrange of emotions and many times when they are not in a good place, their emotions will rear their heads in very ugly ways. As much as we try to teach constructive coping strategies, students still struggle to understand and convey their feelings appropriately.

Creating a space for students to calm down when they are having big feelings will allow them to feel safe and begin to process their emotions.

I am asking for sensory games, seating, and other cool down resources to help my students individually, as well as teach them new strategies in whole group.
