My Students
I work with students who are eager to learn and grow with each other. They are attending school in a new environment with many challenges. Procedures and day to day routines are all different. My students are resilient and want to be here.
My Project
Mental health is a top priority at J. B. I want to create individual calm down kits for the classes in my school. Students are coming to the building daily with many changes. They are adapting, but there are still times they need tools to help them get through a tough situation. Emotions are all over the places and can come up at any time. These calm down kits will enable teachers to have items readily available for when the need arises. We can all benefit from added support this year!
