My students need materials and supplies to keep our coffee business going!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Sauls's classroom raised $182

My Students
My classroom is a self-contained exceptional children's setting. There are several students with Autism, Down's Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other various intellectual disabilities. They range from fourteen years old to nineteen years old. We preach independence and teach them to advocate for their own wants and needs. We do not hone in on their individual disabilities, but rather focus on what they are able to do. Today, that is brewing a fresh cup of coffee! Help these young entrepreneurs start up our first coffee shop!
My Project
Our coffee shop has become a huge hit within our school environment. With the help of our administration and the support of the school staff, we have sold over 200 cups of coffee and even more hot chocolate and tea!
Our students are learning to manage money, however they would benefit from using a cash box to separate the bills and coins.
We also are almost out of cups, coffee, and other materials! In order for our class to be able to go to the aquarium and do other instructional activities in the community, we need to make sure that the Daily Grind keeps on grinding!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
