Help me give my students HP Color Ink to print out class certificates of achievement and create a data wall
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Taylor's classroom raised $419

My Students
Although my students do not have the necessary materials to succeed, I am trying to close the achievement gap. After a review of student grades and school-wide data, there is an indication that students with disabilities are the lowest performing at our school. Aside from having various disabilities, my students also have many issues at home which has a huge effect on them as well.
The students in my class have many disabilities, many of them are reading far below grade level and have difficulty retaining information.
As a special education teacher, I am responsible for providing excellent instruction to my students while taking into consideration their various learning styles.
My Project
My students use the printer daily to print out their certificates of achievement and other student materials. Using the workshop model in math students work independently on various programs and they receive a certificate when they master a standard. When my students receive the certificate they place it on the wall of success and they are proud of their accomplishment. Using the color ink my students can print their certificates in color and monitor their own growth using the red to green color scale.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student engagement, but you will also ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
