My Project
At MSMS, our life skills class for special education students is excited to announce a new initiative: a school-wide coffee cart! Our objective is to establish a student-run coffee cart that will offer both iced and hot coffees to our teachers and staff, while simultaneously teaching our students essential skills in entrepreneurship, teamwork, and responsibility. This hands-on experience will enable our students to manage a small business, develop customer service expertise, and gain valuable insights into financial literacy—all while contributing positively to our school community.
The proceeds generated from the coffee cart will be directed towards funding community-based field trips, providing our students with opportunities to explore and engage with their surroundings.
We aim to organize visits to restaurants, grocery stores, local community projects, and more. Your support will not only help us create this enriching learning experience but also empower our students to become more independent and confident individuals.
