Finding ways to engage students in active experiences that build on what they can do and reflect on their learning! Students should always be active in the process while learning. What better way for them to take part than through experiential learning? I'm requesting a subscription to Kahoot+ Gold for my students to have access to real-world situations to connect with their knowledge.
Learning through Reflection!
Using Kahoot+ Gold with my students access to project-based and problem-based learning experiences that they may not otherwise have in a regular classroom. Students will be able to experience situations using visual, auditory, reading/writing, and kinesthetic styles. and then reflect in order to interpret concepts. Having the use of Kahoot+ Gold content, courses, and AI-generated resources will allow students to complete PBLs in subject areas. Also, students with special needs can use features like closed-caption and audio assistance to connect with content for additional support.
Our core values of academics, community, pride, and justice allow us to advocate for all within this urban neighborhood by extending compassion and partnering with families to nurture lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and responsible citizens through STEM/STEAM, performing arts, visual arts, athletics, coding, computer science (CS), financial literacy, and social-emotional learning (SEL). We receive federal funding for programs that provide free breakfast/lunch for every student, and Title I services to economically disadvantaged individuals. Our inclusive class serves military families, gifted/talented students, ESL/ELL students, special education students, and tech-savvy students.
