My Students
This year I will be teaching kindergarten and first grade special/general education students in an ICT classroom setting. Since my class will be bridged, my students will require more materials that are on their grade level in order to succeed within the classroom.
My Project
The materials I chose will ensure that my students will be engaged and motivated throughout lessons. Since I will be teaching special education students, the circle Time Learning Center is a great visual to learn the calendar. Since the school shutdown, many students need social emotional support that is why I chose
the Growth Mindset Daily Practice Journals which they can use at home and in school.
Many students have regressed academically and the CVC Word Building Cards will help to maintain their short/long term goals. Learning goals provide an important boost to personal development. They allow students to take ownership of their learning and help teachers figure out where to focus extra attention. It is necessary that I provide them with the tools they need in order to succeed.
