I teach kindergarten at an inner city school. The reality is that my students don't have the same resources as students in the suburban schools. My students have a very limited access to technology, both at school and at home.
The only technological tool I have in my classroom is an old desktop computer. I'd like to expose my students to the benefits of technology. With the technological tools at their disposal my children can create an unlimited number of projects, be it bookmaking, fairy tales writing, or drama performances. Technology will give a boost to their imagination as well as help them develop their problem solving skills.
To be able to accomplish this, my students need a digital camera, a printer, and a CD player.
It's in your power to help my kindergartners to move to the next academic level with the help of modern technological tools.
