Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help me provide sensory tools that will help us continue to support our students needs as they arise, in this basket we have weighted animals to help calm escalated students. We have a Kinder- second grade special education classroom, this is our second year with substitute teachers as our class position is hard to fill, we are thankful of the resources we receive through this type of program as we do not have the budget for these materials.

I have added Hammock camping chairs as these can be used instead of a traditional swing to be more inclusive to our students who need vestibular input but also need more support than a traditional swing set.

I have added in sensory bins and other traditional tools that the students can use to support their learning and their fine motor and gross motor needs like the trampoline.
