This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We love music, but we just don't get enough of it! Every student loves to be creative, you can help us have another outlet!
Many of my students are low-income and English Language Learners.
They are a wonderful group of students who love to learn and create. Our school is lucky enough to have a music program, but it doesn't start until the upper grades. These young students would also benefit from learning some musical methods.
My Project
With a class set of recorders and some instruction books, my students could really have a great time and learn a lot! These materials will help them have another creative outlet at school. My students always want to sing and participate very readily in any musical lesson. Learning to play a simple instrument may inspire them to try something more difficult in the future.
