Just The Perfect Spot For Me

Help me give my students a classroom rug and soft spots to sit on during groups as well as a shelving unit to house our math intervention kits.

My Project

In our reading and math intervention classroom, my goal is to increase engagement as well as learn in a different manner than in the students' regular classroom environment. As we work and learn, I want my students to sit in an organized manner on a carpet that is adequate for a group of 3-6 students at a time with space to spread out. We do lots of our activities on the floor and having a classroom rug as well as the sit spot pillows would make this learning more comfortable for my students. We have also received new math intervention kits but unfortunately, we do not have anywhere to store them. We need a shelf to keep these large tubs on to keep them organized and accessible.

According to Malcolm X, "Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for today." Please help me provide the best beginning for my students.
