My Students

In my class, I work with students in grades 9-12 who make me smile every day. As part of one of the largest Hawaiian communities in the world, my students' uniqueness, individuality, and pursuit of becoming lifelong learners remind me daily why I chose to become a teacher.

Students in my class are amazing at transforming their thoughts into reality.

Together, we strive to build real-world skills and create life-long relationships within our community and beyond.

My Project

Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs says that a person's motivation increases when their needs are met. These basic necessities will help to foster my students motivation. With these resources, I know that my students will get that extra boost of confidence that will carry them throughout their day so that they can focus on learning.

When one feels confident one can do great things.

Help me give my students this opportunity to focus more on the learning rather than wondering where they will get these basic resources... because sometimes things are more than just basic.
