This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember catching caterpillars and waiting for them to change into a butterfly? My students want to learn all about insects and bugs! We want to learn about Life Cycles!

My inner city students are so curious about animals and insects!

They need to get their hands on books with great pictures and information. These Kindergartners want to touch and explore some bugs too! In our science kit we get to learn about pill bugs and sow bugs(Isopods)but we can't get enough! We don't want to stop there. We want to learn about lots of animals.

My Project

These Non-Fiction easy readers will give the students information at their finger tips. They will see animals and insects in colorful photographs. Information in these books are at the students reading level so they can read the information for themselves. We also learn about Table of Contents, Glossary, Labels, and Charts through our Non-Fiction books.

My students are drawn to animals and insects!

So these Non-Fiction books with colorful photographs will draw them to wonderful information about Life Cycles. These books will open create excitement for SCIENCE!
