This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students need some basic hygiene items for daily use in the classroom. We need hand sanitizer and hand soap to keep hands clean for after recess, before breakfast, lunch and snack, and wipes to clean up after messy crafts. The baby wipes will also be used for getting hands and faces clean.
I want all students to feel clean, safe and welcome in our classroom each day.
I have seen a need for these basic items. Students sometimes forget to brush their teeth or wear socks, and I want to be able to provide the space in which they can ask for them if needed.
