This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach both preschool and high school students... and I love it! I guess you can say I get the best of both worlds. In the morning we have 3 and 4 year old students that come to our high school to be part of a preschool learning environment. My high school students are considered student teachers. They are interested in pursuing careers working with children after graduation. They work with the 3 and 4 year old students in the morning during our lab.
The materials that we are requesting would be used on a daily basis.
The modeling clay will be used on a daily basis in our play-doh center. The copy paper and laminating pouches will be used to create math, reading and science center games.
