This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting color makers, brand new pencils, sensory toys and even a whistle for recess to add excitement to the beginning of the year adventures.

Every student would love to start the school year with new classroom supplies and with what they need to be successful.

My students will use these supplies to work on projects and practice throughout the year.

However, our school includes many wonderful children who come from low-income households. This doesn't mean they aren't excited to learn and participate in class activities, but they aren't always able to have new supplies to start the school year. These students are very grateful when they are provided with materials to be successful.
