My Project

I teach 7th grade students in a special education setting. Most of my students have a disability in reading and are 2 to 5 years below grade level in reading. 90% of my students strongly dislike to read because it is such a struggle for them. Having the Scholastic Magazines in my class will give my students access to articles and stories that are current, informational, and high interest for my students. My goal is to listen to my kids read out loud as much as possible. The only way to improve at any skill is to practice, practice, practice!
