Just Mercy - Helping Students Embrace Literature

My Students

My students are from the Southwest Side of Chicago and are part of a Special Education program. They need access to curriculum that is both engaging and helps them learn. These materials will help them build their personal libraries and expand their minds.

My Project

These books will be used for a class of students with learning disabilities. Through this literature, we are hoping to inspire them to continue reading and learning even though we are not together.

These books will become a part of the students’ personal library as we begin to expand their minds beyond the walls of their classrooms - wherever that may be.

Please help if you are able so that my students’ minds can continue to grow. Through this book we will connect with our students even though they are not right in front of us.
