My Students
The students in my classroom are kind, creative, and always eager to learn! We are part of an early childhood magnet school in the St. Louis public school district. Our focus is on meeting the unique developmental needs of our young students to provide them with the greatest opportunity to succeed!
My Project
Pretend play experiences allow children to express themselves, their feelings, and act out their ideas in fun and meaningful ways. These figurines and dolls will allow students to see themselves in their play. The items requested represent people of all ages, races, ethnicities, genders, and abilities.
When students relate to the toys they are playing with, the learning experiences become even more meaningful and memorable.
These figures will also encourage students to recognize and embrace the differences and similarities of the people in their community and around the world, helping them become accepting members of our global community.
