My Project
I am a first year reading teacher in a Title 1 charter school. I have students in 6th and 7th grade, who are all tier 3 students. My students are beyond special and want to learn. They love the feel of being at home, and I would love for them to feel this way when in the learning environment.
With the help of my students, the items we chose (bookcase, lamp, and mirror) will make our room feel less like a white box and more of a home away from home.
We will use these and the other materials to laminate and display all students work and store all of their hard work and literacy books.
We are set up in a room with nothing but a white board. Students want our room to feel like home and cozy enough to want to learn. Help give my wonderful students the room they deserve.
