My Students
Technology today is the way to our students' hearts. They are continuously stimulated by new shows, special effects, and video games. The smartboard in our classroom is one of the easiest ways to grab and hold their attention.
I am writing on behalf of my third grade students at a wonderful school in Harlem.
They are an amazing group of curious and kind children. They share favorite websites, enjoy independent projects and love to share what they discover. They are interested in reptiles, space, math puzzles, and cultures from around the world.
My Project
Through grants and donations, my students have been provided with many supplies and opportunities that otherwise would not have been possible. Recently, we received a SMART board for our classroom. However, this new technology requires a laptop. While we do have computers in our classroom, we are in desperate need of a laptop. Most of my coworkers carry their own to and from school in order to utilize the great technology now available.
An HP laptop will make it possible for my students to explore and engage in the various interactive learning opportunities made possible through SMART board technology.
I cannot wait to feel the excitement in my classroom that will come when my students are able to fully immerse themselves in engaging learning activities!
