My Project
My school has a garden space. That garden space has plants and a pod in it. This does not mean that my school has a garden.
Regularly overrun by grass and weeds, with planter boxes not living up to snuff, and not nearly as much habitat as it has potential, our garden needs some help.
Being full-sun and fairly hard-packed, we need some shade plants so the fish in the pond don't end up as soup. However, the hard-packed ground makes removing the grasses and weeds to plant native ground covers and shrubs ... difficult. A hand tiller, to loosen and remove, shears to maintain, a long yet easily stored hose to stave off the worst of the sun drying, and a rake to help with cleanup.
