Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My fourth and fifth grade students enjoy art! It is a part of their weekly routine to improve their fine motor skills through cutting, tracing, and cursive writing activities. These skills are essential to the learning of students with learning differences—especially with increasing opportunities to participate in art and stem activities.
The pencil grips would help my students improve their handwriting and feel successful everywhere on campus.
My students need access to colored and writing pencils to have the basic materials needed to participate in daily cursive practice, which has been used to learn how to write cheques, which is an essential skill.
