Jumpstart Your Heart and Stay Active Throughout the Year!
My students need this bounce house to experience an alternative motivational activity that they are not likely to experience outside of the program setting.
Each day the children enter into our room waiting to see what "out of the box" idea we have created to help them grow intellectually, socially and physically. Their enthusiasm to learn drives us to create more inspiring moments for them to learn from.
The children in this room are empathetic to each other, protective of each other, crave new information to be shared with them, and help to create a loving and intellectual atmosphere each and every day.
Each child has their own story, making them an individual in our diverse classroom population, and an active participant in molding the experience that others have with them.
Our program encourages the teachers to create learning experiences for the children that will impact how they view and value education.
My Project
As part of our program, we offer the children experiences that they are not likely to have outside of our program. Each year we have fun events for the children and their families to participate in, including a carnival day for the end of the school year, a beach bash for the end of our summer program, and a recruitment event during the summer, when coordinated. We typically rent a bounce house each year, however we found that it would be financially logical to have our own and allow for the program to utilize money towards alternative items for the children. Having such an item will also allow for the teachers to motivate and support children with special needs, to help them socially and physically.
Many of the children in our room and program are not exposed to the experiences that we can provide for them in our program.
Our teachers are hard-working, creative, dedicated and genuine in their practice. As we provide a wide range of experiences for the children to learn from, they are more inclined to approach education with enthusiasm and seek outlets to learn from throughout their journey in education.
