This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Throughout the school day my students are given sensory breaks to help regulate their emotions before work. By utilizing fidgets, vibrating pillows and 5 minutes of vestibular activated the students are more focused and engaged. These sensory tools are not just about building muscle tone; they also support the vestibular system, contributing to balance and spatial orientation. This will not only help students engage in such activities, but they will also learn how to negotiate their movements, an essential skill for everyday tasks. Please help me get my students on track for academic achievement!
