This summer I would like to implement a Summer Book Club for the 4th graders at my school. To start things off, I would love for them to read, "Paradise on Fire "by Jewel Parker Rhodes. After reading and discussing this book, we plan to have a virtual visit with the author. The purchase of this book will jump-start our Summer Book Club which will encourage students to continue reading while on summer break. This will not only be an educational experience, but a fun and memorable experience as well.
