it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a PE teacher, what I love most about my students is their energy, enthusiasm, and their willingness to try new things. Every day, I get to see them push their limits, grow stronger, and approach new challenges.
In our current PE program, we don’t count on the right equipment for teaching jump rope.
At this moment, we have a few old jump ropes for adults that can’t be adjusted to kids. This shortage makes it difficult to provide every student with the chance to participate in jump rope-based exercises and activities that are proven to enhance their motor skills and fitness levels. Many of our students are eager to try new challenges, but our lack of sufficient supplies hinders their ability to fully engage in activities that will improve their strength, coordination, and endurance.
The jump ropes will be used in various exercises, games, and drills, helping to teach students key concepts in physical fitness while also providing them with the opportunity to have fun. By providing our students with jump ropes, we will significantly enhance the quality of our PE program, giving students a much-needed resource to develop key physical and social skills. Your support in making this request a reality will have a lasting impact on our students, encouraging them to live active, healthy lives while also fostering a strong sense of community within the class.
