Help me give my students the magical experience of storytelling with a document camera that will highlight the illustrations, details, and characters in the stories bringing the book to life with the Dewey document camera
This year we will be starting the year with distance learning. Every year when school starts, I can't wait to meet my new students. The grade level I teach is very special because at this age students are curious, motivated, and excited to start school. Students come into my class and it is their first experience in elementary school. At this age you need to capture their attention, spark their love for learning, and make learning fun.
My Project
The document camera will project story books big enough that students can see the letters, words, and detail in the illustrations, like being in the classroom and being able to project your materials on a Smart board to present stories, English Language Arts sentence writing, Earth science material exploration, and Math patterning, number writing, and addition lessons to your students.
The document camera brings all the details that are illustrated in the story your reading to life, in your students eyes.
Distance learning makes seeing the illustrators detailed pictures harder. With the document camera I will be able to zoom in on the details in the story, highlight the characters, help student sequence the events, and pick out letters and words as I read.
