This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Jump rope and shuttlecock are very popular folk sports in China. I plan to use them to teach some Chinese action words and review the numbers we learned. After the learning, students can have a jump rope contest and a shuttlecock contest. The class can continue to use them when they have free time.

This project aims to learn the language in actions and work out while learning the language.

I believe the students will love the lesson and learn the Chinese words more authentically, and they will remember the words better. By learning in a fun way, I advocate my Mandarin class at the school, too.
