In our arts magnet school, we base our literacy instruction in the arts. One of the most fun ways of telling stories in kindergarten is through puppet making and storytelling with the puppets. After creating our puppets, we write puppet shows and tell them to our friends and family.
We need a space for puppet showing inside our classroom, so that we can tell all of our friends our stories we have written!
This area will not only be used for puppets, but it can also act as a lemonade stand, grocery market stall, and more! We will be able to use this to tell all kinds of stories and inspire us to write these stories down to share with others!
