Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are FANTASTIC. My students attend a Title I School in Lakeland, FL. They are smart, they are kind and they are compassionate. They are incredibly energetic and antsy but also very bright when they are able to apply themselves.
My Project
These books will help expand my classroom library. This will also help so I can send books home with children to bring back each week so they are able to continue their learning at home as well. These materials are of varying levels as well as different multicultural/inclusive books for all students. Since I am a second year teacher, my library has remained slim. I would like to grow my library so my students are exposed to as many levels and types of reading/books as possible. This way students are able to learn to love reading and explore a future with reading.
