My Project

I would love to be able to teach pickleball to our middle school students. Including this sport in our PE curriculum would benefit our middle school population by providing a fun way to increase cardiorespiratory endurance, coordination, communication skills and strategic thinking.

This is a sport that is widely accessible around our school community, with opportunities to play at many surrounding schools and neighborhood courts.

Helping our scholars develop the skills needed to play this sport would increase the likelihood that they would take what they have learned in PE and use it to live a healthy and active lifestyle outside of the school day.
