Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

There’s a special kind of joy that fills the room when my students get to move. They dance, stretch, jump, and explore music with their whole bodies. It’s where many of them feel the freest, the most confident, and the most seen.

Resources are limited, but that hasn’t stopped my students from showing up with energy and heart.

What we do have is a classroom full of potential, and I want to make sure every child has what they need to be part of it.

With your support, I can bring in tools that help my students move with purpose, things like ribbons, hoops, and stretch bands that turn music into something they can feel, follow, and learn from.

This project will help my students learn how to listen, follow patterns, work together, and express ideas through movement skills that go far beyond music class.
