This year in school, like all others, is yet another mountain to climb and conquer! My students are always eager to learn and grow, so I do my best to keep their desire to imagine and develop ignited! We aim for everyday to be an adventure and every task an opportunity to learn. It is our goal to be positive when learning.
My wish is that my students keep their youthful kindness and are inspired to grow into thoughtful "big kids" with my help.
My Project
Every year, my students participate in a grand Medieval Festival with our grade level. As we prepare to go back to the Medieval Times this spring, we will be engulfed in new, exciting material. We'll learn about knights and castles, feudalism and royalty... But, I would also like take my class on one journey with a giant.
A big, friendly giant that is!
Through this novel study, we will find ourselves in a whole new world. Students will be see able to see the medieval times from an unexpected perspective.
We will study new settings, characters/their traits, and other, higher level literary components. Students will have the opportunity to compare this literature to other medieval tales, creatively write, and so much more.
