This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
For this proposal, I am requesting journals and fun pens to provide my art and health kiddos to use for our classes but also as personal journals to use as they need. Journaling is an important strategy for youngsters to embrace and a place to express and explore ideas, but also a technique to find calmness in their lives. The pens are so nice to write with and give the kids a sense of importance allowing them to take their thoughts and mental stability seriously. When my kiddos are provided with journals, they feel cared for and seen, they feel important. I really appreciated DonorsChoose for providing these resources that make kids feel good.
