My Students
I have 25 wonderful 4th graders who love to learn.
My students make teaching fun.
Anything I ask my kiddos to do, they happily do. They make teaching so fun because they love learning! We love to have fun and find ways to play and learn in our classroom.
Your donation to our classroom is greatly appreciated. Without donors, my students would not have amazing resources, manipulatives, and materials. Thank you so much for taking the time to make a difference in my students' lives.
My Project
Most students can identify what they are feeling: mad, happy, sad, etc. However, sometimes, they do not understand why they are feeling that way.
Guided daily journal/poetry writing will help my students understand what they are feeling and give them a safe outlet to explore their thoughts, feeling, etc.
Having their OWN journal they can decorate and write in will give them ownership. We will have daily time to write with (minimum) weekly journaling mini-lessons. Students will be able to share their thoughts/poetry; however, it will NEVER be mandatory. The journals will give my students a beautiful place to dissect and record their thoughts.
