My Project

My students are bright and creative people. They do, however, struggle sometimes with mindfulness and self-expression. Their self-expression often manifests itself in less-than-friendly ways.

My plan is to use these journals as a vehicle to help students express their feelings and aspirations in a healthier light.

The idea is to have two students share a journal as partners. There would be an allocation of time for this in the classroom so that they would have access to any art supplies that might be needed or wanted to use.
