This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are learning a lot of new vocabulary and skills in our STEAM lab. Our next step is to write about what we are learning in interactive journals. Students will use the Pacon composition books as a journal in the STEAM Lab to record vocabulary, plan and illustrate their projects, respond to questions, and track their learning from week to week. The journals will provide a tool to increase their writing skills and will show their families what they are learning during student lead conferences. Writing and note-taking are life long skills that they will be building and growing during my class.
