My Project
I am a Social Worker in the South Bronx seeking funding for composition notebooks for my 7th grade students.
Every week I teach a Social Emotional class to each of my students and want to introduce them to the benefits of journaling their emotions.
Having students learn to identify their feelings and keep track of them over time in a journal will allow them to express themselves in a way that feels comfortable and private, as well as building a foundation for a positive emotional outlet.
I will provide each student a feelings chart to adhere to the cover of their journal to help them identify their current mood and label their emotions.
