This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
"3D printing has the potential to revolutionize the way we make almost everything. The next industrial revolution in manufacturing will happen in America," President Obama said this year during the State Of The Union address.
My students are smart, driven, and very verbal.
They are 95% Hispanic and 5% African American. Most of them do not have a computer or other technology at home. Our school provides a safe environment away from gangs and other socioeconomic limitations. They are exposed to violence and socioeconomic limitations, like lack of food, that others take for granted.
In my classroom, they get to dream because the sky is the limit. They've planned future traveling plans, designed their dream homes, and have become celebrated community heroes. The classroom is a safe haven where dreaming high is encouraged. Nothing is impossible when they dream, write, and share their future plans. My students thrive as enthusiastic learners because they are provided with the right education and memories that will last a lifetime. As an educator, that's my life-long goal, to continue providing an environment conducive to learning.
My Project
Technology is advancing at an accelerated rate. Machines that develop models that teachers can use to improve Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education, are now available to the public. Amazing! As a teacher that loves and supports technology in the classroom, I want my students to be inspired to be little engineers. I want them to be part of the next Industrial Revolution. I want them to be innovative thinkers, creators, engineers, scientists, and awesome mathematicians. Furthermore, as a teacher that loves science and math, my students will also be part of the Microphyte Academy Math Manipulative Challenge. They will build fraction models that are accurate and easy to handle by themselves, peers, and other students around the states. Moreover, I want them to create small sculptures, toys and games, or anything else they can dream of! The possibilities are endless and my class will be glad to be part of the next Industrial Revolution.
I need your generosity, to help me teach science and math and to allow my students to be part of the next Industrial Revolution.
Science is so important to my students' future. These materials will put them on the path of love for science and math. With your help they can aspire to be future scientists, engineers, mathematicians, doctors, chemists, or astronauts! With your help we can help achieve science and math success.
