Jewelry Making is Art Too

My students need beads and bracelet kits for jewelry making in art class.

This project is fully funded

I teach high school art in a very low-income district. We have a very limited budget, and I am always struggling to find the resources to really let my students experience a variety of projects.

I want to introduce my art classes to jewelry making, and need some supplies. Students LOVE hands-on activities, and especially those in which they create projects they can keep or give away as gifts. I have already used my budget for the year buying essentials, and I would love to be able to provide these jewelry making kits to my students.

I want my students to make bracelets and necklaces, and need beads for these activities. Some students who lack confidence with drawing and painting excel at these types of projects, and may be inspired to begin designing their own jewelry!

Your help will provide my students with a new hands-on experience, creative inspiration, and introduce them to one more aspect of art they may not have thought about.
