Jazzy Sundays: Student Photo Booth in the Park

My Project

Greetings! I am so excited to support our Commercial Photography I & II students in setting up unique photo booth experiences for our 3rd year of working Jazzy Sundays, a free jazz concert series.

We are in need of a light system to ensure that attendees are driven to our booth once the sun begins to set, in addition to a photo printer w/ ink to provide on the spot photo prints.

Our goal is to engage students in real-world applications of the learning they take part in throughout the school day.

I am genuinely so proud of my students. Their work is improving beyond my imagination, and the photos that they have taken are making it into local fine arts museums and galleries. As their teacher, I was out on maternity leave for 12 weeks, and they held space while maintaining focus on the targets we set in place. It is my desire to show them how much I believe in them as budding photographers and to help them develop portfolios that set them up for a future of success.
