This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a very eager group of students this year that are ready to play and learn jazz. The charts I have selected will be used to help jumpstart the jazz band library and give us some quality introductory repertoire for the band.

These materials will go a long way in helping us make music this year.

As a director of the CPS all-city jazz band these materials will help enhance my teaching for those students as well. The bass guitar and case are the last two things Richards' new jazz program needs to get started!
