I teach a fun, active group of 25 second graders. They love to learn and work together. In second grade, we learn a lot of new skills every day. These students are eager to learn and apply their skills every day!
My students are on a variety of levels in the classroom.
They need engaging ways to practice the skills they are missing. My students that are reading above level need engaging ways to challenge their brains!
They need new and exciting experiences to keep them engaged in our curriculum. I like to provide them with experiences that will immerse them in the learning and teach them about the world we live in.
My Project
This has been a year like no other. It has been filled with many unforeseen challenges. We are constantly having to change our way of teaching. We are having to reteach material from previous years and adapt our material we usually teach. Because of this, we are having to purchase new games, activities, and other learning tools to use.
