Ixl for the Win

Help me give my students the online program IXL in reading and math standards based practice!

My Project

IXL is a program that has all four subject areas: reading, math, science, and social studies. Each subject has a skill set that students can work on to help them practice state standards. It is an easy check for understanding when it comes to student achievement. I can pull the students who need assistance and I can push those who have mastered the skill. As a teacher, this is a valuable tool!

I particularly like IXL because it allows for differentiation for each student.

I am able to send recommendations to students and I can send them any grade level that I deem appropriate on the same skill. IXL also has a fantastic diagnostic system that covers the skills based on grade level. Once students complete the diagnostic I am able to see an action plan to help them master the skill.
