I've Never Flown a Kite

Help me give my students kites to learn how wind speed affects the stability of a kite and the ease of getting it into the air

My Project

Kites have been a source of entertainment for centuries for kids from cultures around the world. For science, my students will have a chance to build their very own kites. Then they will use it to investigate how kites fly. My students will also use a series of experiments, testing different variables such as speed, line length, tail length, and any other variable to test. They will be able to figure out the best way to fly a kite.

I am very thrilled about this project because most of my students have never flown a kite.
