My Project
The use of a walking pad for self-regulation decreases the amount of time it takes for students to settle. When they have trouble solving a problem whether it is big or small they need tools to learn how to pause and reset, so they can think clearly. A walking pad will enhance the teaching environment in order for students to hop on and hop off as needed.
STEM activities such as magnetic tiles and puzzles also helps students settle and work on team building activities.
Our students need resources such as the floor puzzles to use in multiple ways. Including, but not limited to, team building to work out conflicts, making friends groups, self regulation when needing to calm down. The Lakeshore Flex-Space Student Lap Desk will support student learning for more options of seating around the environment, such as in the class library or while working on a project.
