My Students
My students love getting away from their desks during group lessons. Sitting on the carpet and interacting with items shown on the SMART Board during my whole group lessons really engages them and allows me to keep them interested in whole group lessons.
My students this year are very self motivated and love to learn!
They enjoy working with partners while sitting as a whole group. Some students come from families struggling with finances but are accepted by all students in the classroom regardless. They enjoy coming to school and feel as if it is a safe predictable place they can visit every day.
My Project
The Apple TV will allow my students to become engaged in apps that are purchased on the classroom iPad. As a teacher I can select from millions of apps that can reinforce concepts taught in the classroom. These applications can then be shown on the SMART board and played as an entire class. Students can watch documentaries through Netflix streaming services as well as documentaries in science and social studies that can be purchased in iTunes.
